Larry Gury and Russ Kuhn began purchasing commercial property when they started California Family Fitness twenty-five years ago. As business owners, they knew there was a great advantage of owning their buildings so they began purchasing buildings and retrofitting them into beautiful fitness centers.

Fit Development was formed separately from California Family Fitness and Larry and Russ expanded their property acquisition to include full-sized retail commercial shopping centers, office buildings, multi-family, industrial and retail pad sites throughout the US.

They both learned from a "hands on" approach, how to successfully acquire, finance, develop projects, attract and retain tenants.
